We are sponsoring the #HealthTechToShoutAbout category of the rapidly growing industry awards run by the Health Tech Newspaper. Our advisory board judges will be looking to celebrate success and spread innovation
Highland Marketing is supporting the Health Tech Awards 2019 by becoming one its lead sponsors.
The dedicated health tech agency will pick the winner of the inaugural #HealthTechToShoutAbout category from the top projects entered into the rapidly-growing industry awards run by the Health Tech Newspaper.
The choice will be made by Highland Marketingβs independent advisory board, led by industry veteran Jeremy Nettle.
He said the judges would be looking for a project that had not only made a difference to staff and patients, but that could be rapidly adopted by other organisations looking to address the big challenges facing the NHS.
βWe are passionate about improving healthcare, and we are confident that all of the projects entered for the Health Tech Awards 2019 will do that,β he said.
βBut for the #HealthTechToShoutAbout category we will be looking for that extra something; and that is likely to be replicability.
βThere is a real focus in health tech policy today on making sure that NHS IT is using open systems and standards that make it easy for organisations to adopt innovation without having to reinvent the wheel each time. And that is what we will be looking to reward.β
The Health Tech Newspaper is a rapidly growing website and print-publication that was set up to cover the positive aspects of NHS IT.
Its Health Tech Awards are in their third year, and have already grown to 16 categories, covering everything from the βbest use of dataβ and the βbest administration time savingsβ generated by an IT project, to the βbest point of careβ technology and the βbest use of roboticsβ.
Highland Marketing founder and client services director Susan Venables said: βWe leapt at the opportunity to sponsor these awards because they were set up to do something that Highland Marketing has always sought to do: and that is to tell stories about the good things that are happening in health tech.
βWe want to celebrate the good work that is being done and to shout about success, so it is easier for suppliers and NHS organisations to get support for and engagement with the IT projects that can make a real difference to the service, clinicians and patients.β
The awards are being presented in association with CCube Solutions, an award-winning provider of enterprise content management solutions. Entry is open now and closes on 17 June. The awards are purely digital and will be showcased live on an awards evening on 3 October.
Jon Wilson, founder and editor of the Health Tech Newspaper, said: βIt is great to see the awards enter their third year stronger than ever and picking up the support of industry leaders like Highland Marketing.
βIts support will help us to promote the mission of the awards, which is to highlight the very best ideas, projects, products and solutions out there, and to show there really is #HealthTechToShoutAbout.β
