What is a local health tech showcase?
Elevate local health tech showcases are an initiative launched by Highland, in collaboration with Insight UK and the support of consultants who truly know the patch. We understand that tech suppliers and innovators can find it hard to get in front of the right people, when they are ready to engage.
So, we talk face to face with trusts to explore their requirements and ambitions. Then we take YOUR services, products and ideas direct to their leadership and staff, in a format that excites them about what YOU have to offer. All for a fraction of the cost of attending a major health tech show and with the backing of Insight’s compliant routes to procurement.
Why Bristol?
North Bristol NHS Trust is working with its neighbour, University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust, to create the Bristol NHS Group. It wants to use technology as a catalyst to transform services across the city and has published a Joint Clinical Strategy for digitally-enabled care that will be pioneered by cardiology and perinatal services.
The roadshow is a chance to give the group’s directors, clinical leaders, and frontline staff a taste of the health and med tech available to improve the working environment, transform pathways, and make a material difference to efficiency and outcomes, as they develop their digital and investment plans.
Who should attend?
The Bristol NHS Hospital Group is developing a Group Digital Strategy that will be published early in 2026-27. But we already know that it is looking to: refresh UHBW’s infrastructure; build on North Bristol’s successful deployment of an electronic patient record and e-prescribing; accelerate the roll-out of remote monitoring and digital outpatient solutions; and improve its analytics capability.
As the group develops, we also know it will be looking to: consolidate fragmented systems; transform care pathways; deploy the ambient voice technology, productivity, and patient-facing solutions identified in the 10 Year Health Plan and the Medium Term Planning Framework; and invest in AI. If YOU have solutions in those areas, you need to join us.
